Clean Water Services, the local wastewater and stormwater management utility, is connecting existing sanitary sewer near Jim’s Market to the area east of the railroad tracks where a CWS sanitary sewer pump station will be constructed. This work will require installation of a new sanitary sewer pipe under the train tracks to the east and through the Arbor Village neighborhood along NW Oak Way. Construction for the sanitary sewer project will begin this fall and will have some related traffic and noise impacts. To learn more, attend a public open house Thursday, September 4th from 5:30-7pm at Banks Public Library, 42461 NW Market St., or direct your questions to Shannon Huggins (503) 681-3600 or [email protected].
