Long Range Facilities Planning Team

About the Committee

The Banks School District is looking to engage in a collaborative process to determine our best path forward related to ongoing maintenance and facilities needs. Specifically, we need to address ongoing deferred maintenance and the High School/Central Office Buildings. The Long Range Facilities Planning Team will meet in the Fall and Winter to:

  • Determine overall guiding principles for the project
  • Determine a “starting point” that builds off of previous work and acknowledges our current realities (specifically school safety and community growth)
  • Determines a strategy and timeline (specific to the outside funding sources)
  • Determines the key challenges to solve in partnership with developers
