Banks School District Summer School Program 2025
The Banks School District will be offering summer programs for Elementary, Middle, and High School students.
Summer School Options
The program will be targeted toward students who are below grade level in reading or math, or who are credit deficient at the high school level. Families will be invited to apply for a spot based on achievement or credit eligibility.

Grades K-5:

Grades 6-12:
Please fill out the Interest Form

Credits:
Students can earn .5 credits for (any) two weeks of participation. If attending all four weeks students can earn up to 1.0 credit.

Thanks to a grant recently awarded by ODE, Banks School District is offering a summer academy for the 2025 summer. You can read more about the program for students in grades K-5 below.
Dates: July 7th – July 31st
Days: Monday through Thursday (No school on Fridays)
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Banks Elementary School
Cost: FREE!
Join us for a fun and enriching summer experience focused on:
Literacy – Strengthen reading and writing skills
STEAM Activities – Explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and math
Social & Emotional Learning – Build friendships and learn teamwork
Exciting Field Trips – Both on-site and off-site adventures
Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily, and limited transportation may be available (details to come).

Note: The BES SummerSchool program is currently full. Please contact the front office if you wish to be placed on a waiting list.
Bus transportation will be provided, although bus stops may be different than during the school year. Bus routes will be determined after we know which students will be attending, but please be aware that students may need to be driven to a bus stop, depending on your location.
