2013-14 Calendar Revised

March 10, 2014 the Banks School Board approved the revised 2013-14 School Year Calendar.  The two changes to the calendar were:

May 23, 2014 is now a Student Contact Day.
June 12, 2014 is now a Staff Inservice Day.

The revised calendar is available on the web site for your information.  Please feel free to contact the District Office or a school with any questions.

Banks Community Auction

The 40th Annual Banks Community Auction is set for April 26, 2014.  

BHS National Honor Society is proud  to be participating in the Shoebox Recycling Program. Shoebox recycling recycles gently used shoes for reuse. Recycling shoes helps do the following:

  • Provides affordable shoes to those in need

  • Fuels local economies here and abroad

  • Keeps them out of landfills; Creating a cleaner,greener planet

This program will give the National Honor Society $ .50 per pound for the collection of shoes. Shoe collection boxes are located in:the Banks High School office, Ms. Sanders’ room, Mr. Gerlinger’s room, Mr. Buchanan’s room, or the library.

Please contact Ms. Sanders if you have any questions, we thank you in advance for your support and donations. We want to be sure that your shoes find a good home and solemate. :)

Thank you to the community of Banks for the school bond! Each classroom at the high school is now equipped with heating and cooling units, a proper fire alarm system, new bleachers in the gym, seismic upgrades, and a brand new science classroom.
